Our invitation
There is a person
inside every movement.
Welcome to the beginning of your Reformer teaching.
Explore the body, breath and equipment with Lori Lowell. Learn how spring support changes an exercise, how to offer clear cues, and when the person in front of you needs something different.
Your student manual, movement demonstrations and Studio Library give you room to pause, revisit a detail and practice teaching. Study at your own pace, whether you are new to teaching or bringing experience from another movement practice.
Arrange access to a suitable Reformer and make time for hands-on practice, with qualified guidance when the work is unfamiliar.
Let understanding become practice.

Your teaching begins with attention.
Lori’s introduction film is coming soon.
Five passages. Fifteen teaching modules.
Your Pilates Reformer curriculum.
Move through five passages that bring the Drishti Beats method into focus, from your first equipment decisions to the way you observe, cue and shape a class. Fifteen modules connect movement principles, applied anatomy and thoughtful teaching, with practical study woven throughout.
Passage One · Modules 1–3
Enter the Method
Begin with the relationship between your body, the Reformer and the way you teach. Explore the principles behind the method while developing a more attentive approach to alignment, breath and equipment safety.
The Drishti Beats Pilates Reformer Method
Discover how the Drishti Beats method brings Pilates principles into a mindful, energetic group experience. Explore concentration, control, centering, precision, breath and flow through five teaching lenses: form, anatomy, Pilates intelligence, flow and mindfulness.
The Body
Explore how form, alignment, breath and awareness work together in movement. Learn to observe how a body organizes itself, connect breath with clear movement intentions and recognize when a change in position or instruction may offer better support.
The Reformer
Get to know the Reformer’s equipment, operation and essential safety considerations. Study spring choices, carriage control, equipment adjustments and transitions, including why machine-specific orientation matters and why more spring resistance does not always mean a greater challenge.
Passage Two · Modules 4–6
Build the Teaching Practice
Turn foundational understanding into purposeful teaching. Learn how to use the program, guide progression and communicate with clarity, while helping students find support without unnecessary tension.
The Program
Explore the structure of the program and learn to use the instructor manual as a practical teaching resource. Study how its ten written class plans develop from foundational to more demanding movement, with progression guided by demonstrated control, preparation and individual readiness.
The Teacher
Develop clear, inclusive language and a grounded teaching presence. Practice the Drishti cueing sequence of breath, movement name and active direction, while exploring how imagery, intention and observation can help students understand both what they are doing and why.
The Core
Deepen your understanding of intelligent core support and how to coach it effectively. Explore breath and pressure management, distinguish useful support from excessive gripping and practice cues that help students organize movement without adding unnecessary effort.
Passage Three · Modules 7–9
Teach Every Body Responsibly
Build the knowledge to make more considered teaching choices. Connect anatomical language with movement, explore how the body manages force and develop a responsible approach to adapting for individual needs.
Special Populations and Responsible Adaptation
Explore responsible adaptation through teaching considerations for osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, and knee and shoulder concerns. Study private screening, conservative options, observation and referral, with clear attention to the boundaries of a movement teacher’s role.
Anatomy Foundations
Develop the anatomical language used throughout the training and connect it with what you can observe on the Reformer. Practice describing body position and movement more precisely, so anatomy becomes a useful part of your cueing and teaching decisions.
Muscles, Fascia and Force
Explore the relationship between muscles, fascia and force in movement. Connect these foundations with the demands of Reformer exercises, considering how the body produces and controls movement and how that understanding informs purposeful teaching.
Passage Four · Modules 10–12
Read the Reformer Body
Bring anatomy into the details of Reformer practice. Study the relationship between breath, the trunk and the limbs, and connect your understanding of the body with equipment choices, movement quality and clear instruction.
The Spine
Study the relationship between the spine, pelvis, core and breath. Explore how these elements support stability and mobility, and connect anatomical understanding with the way you observe spinal movement, organize positions and guide breathing.
Lower Body Anatomy
Explore lower-body anatomy through the mechanics of Reformer movement. Connect the roles of the hips, knees, ankles and feet with alignment, support and control, developing a clearer rationale for the positions, cues and options you offer.
Upper Body Anatomy
Study upper-body anatomy in relation to Reformer mechanics, including the contribution of the shoulders and arms to supported movement. Explore how to guide control while allowing appropriate shoulder-blade movement, and relate anatomical understanding to equipment setup and teaching choices.
Passage Five · Modules 13–15
Bring It Into the Room
Bring the learning together in the decisions you make as a teacher. Refine your observation, build coherent class experiences and explore the professional responsibilities that support thoughtful, well-prepared teaching.
Movement Analysis and Observation
Practice turning observation into a clear teaching response. Explore movement analysis through a simple process: identify the purpose, observe the student, change one variable and reassess, using what you see to inform cues, options and progression.
Class Design, Progression and Musicality
Bring movement, progression, transitions and musicality into a purposeful class experience. Work with class-design principles and a 45-minute planning task, exploring how music, pacing and mindfulness can support flow while keeping movement quality and safety central.
Professional Scope of Practice and Screening
Explore the responsibilities that sit alongside teaching movement: professional scope, ethics, consent and emergency readiness. Study ongoing consent for touch, equipment concerns, incident records and emergency planning, and reflect on how preparation and clear boundaries support a respectful learning environment.
A moment to make it your own.
Each passage ends with a multiple-choice knowledge review. Receive feedback, revisit anything that needs another look, and try again. When every answer is correct, the next passage unlocks automatically. There is no need to rush.
Find your starting point
Is this training for you?
Anyone may enroll; no prior teaching qualification is required. You do not need to have your teaching voice figured out. Bring curiosity, make room for practice, and give yourself time to understand what you are asking a body to do. Here is an honest look at where this training can meet you.
This is for you if
- You practice Reformer Pilates and want to understand it more deeply, whether or not you plan to teach.
- You are a yoga or movement teacher exploring a distinct Reformer-based method.
- You want anatomy, equipment setup, cueing and class design connected to the movement in front of you.
- You value self-paced study, with room to pause, return to a lesson and let an idea settle.
- You are willing to spend time on a Reformer, exploring the learning rather than only watching it.
Before you enroll
- Arrange access to a suitable Pilates Reformer. Equipment is not included in the training.
- If you are new to Reformer Pilates, plan for an equipment orientation and guided practice with a qualified instructor alongside your online study.
- If you want your teaching observed and individually assessed, plan for that separately. Completion here is based on the five knowledge reviews, not a live practical exam.
- If a studio, employer or insurer requires a particular qualification, confirm that this training meets their requirements before enrolling.
- If you are looking for rehabilitation or clinical training, this is a different path. Our focus is movement education and teaching.
The Drishti Beats training certificate records successful completion of all five knowledge reviews. It is not an independent assessment of hands-on teaching skills.

Her teaching makes room for precision and individual response. You learn the foundations, then begin to see where a smaller movement, a different setup or a little more time may be useful.
This is the familiar care of Drishti Beats, brought to a distinct practice: the Reformer, the moving body, and the choices that belong to you as a teacher.

Questions before you enroll.
The details that matter, so you can make a considered choice and begin with a clear head.
Who can enroll in this training?
Anyone may enroll; no prior teaching qualification is required. Arrange access to a suitable Reformer. If you are new to Reformer Pilates, plan for an equipment orientation and guided practice with a qualified instructor alongside your online study.
What support is included?
Support includes the Drishti Sangha community, platform chat, direct email to the mentors and a one-to-one Zoom call when needed.
Is the Pilates Reformer training self-paced?
Yes. Study online at your own pace, pause a lesson and return when you need another look. There is no fixed deadline to begin or finish. When enrollment opens, you can register and start learning when you are ready. Billing and the seven-day refund window begin at registration.
Do I need my own Pilates Reformer?
You need access to a suitable Reformer for practical learning, but it does not have to be one you own. Equipment is not included. Follow your equipment manufacturer's instructions and receive an orientation before using an unfamiliar machine. If you are new to Reformer Pilates, plan for guided practice with a qualified instructor alongside your online study.
What does enrollment include?
Fifteen teaching modules across five passages, a downloadable student manual, ten written class plans, movement demonstrations, Studio Lab learning prompts, the Studio Library and five knowledge reviews. Your enrollment also includes Drishti Sangha community access and a personalized digital training certificate upon successful completion.
Are the ten class plans full-length class videos?
No. They are written teaching resources in the student manual: five beginner, three intermediate and two advanced class plans. The video resources include teaching modules and movement demonstrations.
How do I earn my Pilates Reformer training certificate?
Successfully complete the knowledge review in each of the five passages, with every answer correct. The reviews are multiple choice and automatically checked, with feedback and retries available. There is no separate written examination or live practical assessment. The school team then manually issues your personalized training certificate by email. The certificate records course completion, rather than an independent assessment of hands-on teaching skills.
What happens if I answer a review question incorrectly?
Read the feedback, return to the relevant teaching and correct your answers. You can try again without waiting for a manual review. Once every answer is correct, that passage is complete and you can continue.
Is this a Yoga Alliance qualification?
No. This is the Drishti Beats Pilates Reformer Method training, separate from our Yoga Alliance-registered yoga teacher trainings. It does not award an RYT credential. Before enrolling, check any qualification requirements set by the studios, employers or insurers you intend to work with.
Does training access expire, and are updates included?
Both payment options include lifetime access to the training and future curriculum, Studio Lab and Studio Library updates. With the payment plan, keep your payments current during the plan; lifetime access continues once all four installments are paid.
What does it cost, and is there a payment plan?
Tuition is $794 USD in one payment, or four monthly payments of $198.50 USD, totaling $794. The first installment is due at registration, followed by three automatic monthly payments. There is no added payment-plan fee, and tuition payments end after the fourth installment.
What if the training is not right for me?
Both payment options include a seven-day full refund. Contact us within seven days of registration to request it. The seven days begin when you register, even if you choose to start studying later. An approved full refund requested within that window also cancels all remaining installments.
