This isn't a prerequisite. Advance to the 300 whenever you're ready. But every three years, Yoga Alliance asks each RYT for thirty training hours, at any level. The Evolving Yoga Teacher is open to anyone and includes 18 video lectures with matching audio versions, plus one complimentary Yin or Restorative workshop of your choice. Yoga Alliance continuing education credit is separate and subject to its requirements.

- What yoga teacher training programs does Drishti Beats offer?
- Drishti Beats offers three Yoga Alliance–approved online trainings: the 200-Hour foundation, the 300-Hour advanced, and the full 500-Hour pathway, along with continuing education. The 500-Hour combines the 200-Hour and 300-Hour training. Existing 200-Hour graduates should choose the 300-Hour advanced course rather than repurchase the 200-Hour. Graduates receive a Drishti Beats training certificate; Yoga Alliance registration is a separate process, subject to its eligibility requirements and fees.
- Do I need the continuing education course before I move to the 300 or 500?
- No. The 30-hour continuing education course is never a prerequisite for advancing. After completing the 200-Hour, choose the 300-Hour advanced course. The combined 500-Hour includes both courses; it is not an additional course after the 300-Hour. The continuing education course is a separate, optional path that Yoga Alliance asks every Registered Yoga Teacher to complete every three years to keep their credential current. It's there when your renewal comes due, at any level.
- What is the difference between the 200, 300, and 500-Hour trainings?
- The 200-Hour is where you begin. It provides your foundational 200 hours of teacher training. The 300-Hour is the path you walk afterward, deepening your sequencing, your understanding, and your voice as a teacher. The combined 500-Hour contains both the 200-Hour and 300-Hour courses. Graduates receive a Drishti Beats training certificate. Yoga Alliance registration is separate, subject to its eligibility requirements and fees. There is no need to rush; most teachers begin with the 200 and continue when the time feels right.
