The Drishti Beats Pilates Reformer Method
Teaching begins with attention. You notice how a person arrives, how the carriage moves, and what changes when you offer one clear cue. This online Pilates Reformer teacher training gives you a place to study those choices with Lori Lowell and bring them into your own practice.
Classical foundations give the work direction. Anatomy helps you understand the movement. There is room for creativity and musicality, with the person in front of you always at the center.

The learning path
Five passages. One connected practice.
Enter the Method
Begin with the method, the moving body, and the Reformer. Explore breath and alignment, then learn to prepare the equipment before movement begins.
Build the Teaching Practice
Study the program, the teacher, and the core. Practice choosing words that help a student understand what to do and how to respond.
Teach Every Body Responsibly
Consider individual needs alongside anatomy, muscles, fascia, and force. Learn to adapt within your training and recognize the limits of your role.
Read the Reformer Body
Connect the spine and the lower and upper body to Reformer movement. Observe how setup, support, and range change the work.
Bring It Into the Room
Bring movement observation into class design. Work with progression and musicality, then consider screening and professional scope of practice.
Your path to completion
Learn. Return. Let it become familiar.
Each passage ends with an automatically checked knowledge review. Read the feedback, return to a teaching when you need to, and correct your answers. Once every answer is correct, the passage is complete and the next becomes available.
Successful completion of all five knowledge reviews fulfills the certification requirement for this version of the Drishti Beats Pilates Reformer Method training. There is no separate written examination or live practical assessment. Once you have completed the program requirements, the school will issue your personalized certificate and send it by email.
The reviews assess course knowledge. They are not an independent assessment of hands-on teaching ability. Equipment orientation and continued supervised practice remain part of preparing to teach responsibly.
Before you begin
Do I need my own Reformer?
You need access to a suitable Reformer for practice, but it does not need to be your own. Equipment is not included with enrollment. Arrange an orientation to the machine you will use and seek appropriate supervision when a movement is unfamiliar.
Can I study at my own pace?
Yes. The online lessons are self-paced, so you can pause, take notes, and return to the material while you study. The five passages follow a sequence, with a knowledge review completing each passage before you continue.
What happens if I answer a review question incorrectly?
You receive feedback and can correct your answers. There is no need to wait for a teacher to grade the review. Take the feedback back into your study, then submit again when you are ready.
Does certification meet every studio's requirements?
Requirements vary. Before enrolling for a particular teaching role, check with the studio, employer, or insurer you intend to work with. This training focuses on Pilates Reformer movement. It does not confer a healthcare license or qualify you to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Teach the person in front of you. Let clear preparation give your creativity room to grow.
