Inspired by the sounds of the Middle East, mysticism, and the powerful connection with their fans, yoga bass collective Drishti Beats announces the release of their cosmic new single “Hidden Temple.” Transporting their audiences through a hypnotic and musical yoga journey, Drishti Beats provides a “temple” or a sacred container where their music seems to cosmically connect to our breath. Outpouring relentless energy, they invite us into their space or “temple” of movement where we can’t help but feel a sense of belonging and pure loving energy. An amalgamation of genres including tribal fusion, downtempo electronic chill, conscious hip-hop, and jazz, “Hidden Temple” delivers a spiritual and enlightening musical experience. Lead singer Ariel’s soulfully feel-good vocals are juxtaposed by Alec’s conscious rap talents providing the perfect balance. Meanwhile the ancestral percussion and saxophone transport listeners to an unforgettable space of absolute bliss and radiance. At times Drishti Beats provides one of a kind dynamic yoga classes but their live music set can also stand alone to deliver a radiant and electrifying set to eagerly enthralled audiences. About Drishti Beats:
Drishti Beats is a live band yoga class experience that can be experienced at yoga and music festivals around the world. The band produces live downtempo electronic chill music for their own yoga classes and for sheer listening pleasure. Found on all music platforms, including their own Pandora Station, Drishti Beats continues to build momentum in both the downtempo chill and world music genres. With the Lowell family at its core Lori and Jeremy (husband and wife) are the co-founders and creators of Drishti Beats who provide the class experience and are accompanied by an esteemed group of musicians including their daughter vocalist Ariel, their son Alec (beatboxing/rapper/producer), saxophonist Ricardo Branco, producer Ryan Golbus, violinist Carol Carson, and flutist Gina Sobel. Their collaboration has resulted in a beautiful singular sound and one of a kind yoga class experience that celebrates positivity and the joy of being alive. Watching the musicians perform on stage while Lori and Jeremy mindfully and expertly guide participants through yoga flows, speaks loudly to the celebration of music to a movement experience.

Lori Lowell

Lori Lowell is a yoga educator and teacher trainer with close to 25 years of experience in movement, wellness, and education. She holds Yoga Alliance's E-RYT 500 and YACEP credentials, is AYC Level-3 certified, and serves as Director of the School of Yoga at Drishti Beats, the online yoga teacher training school she co-founded.
Six years in the making and filmed around the world, Lori's RYS 200 and 300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Trainings are among the most in-depth, globally available programs of their kind. After facilitating live trainings for four years, she co-developed an adaptive learning platform that offers an immersive teacher-training experience at each student's own pace, focused on the vinyasa flow style of yoga. Graduates complete the programs as fully registered teachers with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200 and RYT 500).
Lori's path into yoga was built on a long career in fitness and wellness. She began as a gym owner in 1995 and became National Group Fitness Director for Gold's Gym International, overseeing programs across 65 corporate-owned gyms. In 2008 she founded Group Fitness Solutions, and in 2009 created the Group Fitness Director Training Course. She remains a co-owner of three fitness facilities in Northern Virginia.
Honored as "Visionary of the Year" by Gold's Gym and a recipient of the 2015 Julie Main Woman Leader Scholarship, Lori has been sought after for expert commentary throughout her career. She is the subject of a chapter in "100 Women Who Love Their Jobs and Why" (Joanne Burke, Ballantine, 2005), has appeared on the cover of Club Solutions Magazine, and has been featured in Club Business International alongside her husband and Drishti Beats co-founder, Jeremy Lowell.
