The shape of the journey
Our training is open enrollment. You can begin your journey the moment you join our school.
The training is built on a Vinyasa flow style of yoga. Around that foundation, it covers a blend of Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and sound healing, along with a detailed breakdown of yoga postures, breathing, meditation, and mudras. You will learn how to apply principles of alignment to create a balanced and therapeutic yoga space, and you will explore the business of yoga, both in the studio and online. A complimentary Inversions Workshop is included in the training.
Everything except the live calls is available on demand, day and night. You journey through the curriculum in your own space and at your own pace.
What you will carry with you
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Perform, teach, and cue each of the twelve pose series safely and with confidence.
- Call the poses by their Sanskrit names, and know what those names mean.
- Practice and teach Ujjayi and Nadi Shodhana pranayama, and know when each serves.
- Identify the muscles, joints, and bandhas at work in the poses you teach.
- Sequence the arc of a class, from the first breath to savasana.
- Give and receive feedback with an open mind. Glows and grows.
- Find your authentic voice, as a yoga teacher and as a person.
The rhythm of every chapter
The training is divided into twelve chapters. Every chapter moves through the same six parts.
Masterclass
A full Vinyasa flow masterclass with one of our mentors. You practice as a student first.
Sample masterclass
Skill Development
The series of poses at the heart of the chapter, taught through video lectures and flashcards. Anatomy as it relates to each pose. Yoga history and philosophy. Energetic anatomy.
Sample lecture
Hands‑On Practice
A physical breakdown of the sequence and its assists, including mirroring, so your students can follow you visually with clarity and confidence.
Self‑Reflection
Reading, journaling, and study that connect the chapter to the tradition and to you.
Prepare and Upload
You record yourself teaching the chapter’s sequence and upload it to us. You will be teaching to the Invisible Student behind the camera. No one else needs to be in the room.
Feedback
A mentor reviews your video and sends you detailed, personal feedback. Then the next chapter unlocks.
This is not a course you watch. It is a practice you build. Each chapter builds on the one before it, using the power of storytelling, so everything comes together in a logical structure that lets you create your own schedule around the training.
Where your 200 hours grow
Our school completed Yoga Alliance’s Elevated Standards among the first schools to do so. Your 200 hours are built on the four Educational Categories every Registered Yoga School must meet.
Techniques, Training, and Practice
75 hoursThis is where the practice lives. Twelve full masterclasses, from foundational Vinyasa to Restorative and Yin, and twelve pose series taught pose by pose, in English and in Sanskrit. You will practice and teach Ujjayi and Nadi Shodhana pranayama, and meditation will thread through every chapter, from your first sit to the guided savasanas you learn to lead. The mudras come alive here too. Kali, Hakini, Garuda, and Ushas are not concepts in this training. You flow with them.
Anatomy and Physiology
30 hoursAnatomy here is never abstract. For every pose you teach, you learn the muscles, the joints, and the bandhas at work, along with the benefits, the contraindications, and the healthy patterns of movement that keep your students safe. You will journey through the body’s eleven major organ systems and learn the anatomical language and planes of movement every teacher needs. Then the study turns inward, to the subtle body: the chakras, the nadis, the five bandhas, and the koshas.
Yoga Humanities
30 hoursYou will read the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Books One and Two, and walk the Eight Limbs from the Yamas and Niyamas onward. The Bhagavad Gita becomes a companion, all the way to the question of your own sva-dharma. You will study the history of yoga, from its roots to how it arrived and evolved in the West, and build a foundation in Sanskrit that carries into your cueing. Ethics is not a chapter here. It is a practice, held through journaling and honest self-study.
Professional Essentials
50 hoursThe craft of teaching, built deliberately. You learn the Five Pillars and the Principles of Alignment, then how to sequence the arc of a class, from the first breath to savasana. You practice mirroring, safe and consensual hands-on assists, teaching off the mat with only your voice, and reaching every style of learner, including students who are pregnant or working with injuries.
Every chapter closes with a practicum video and Glows and Grows mentor feedback, so your teaching grows in public, not in theory. And the business of yoga is taught for the real world: building your brand, finding your space, growing your network, and even ASCAP and BMI music licensing for the classes you will one day fill.
The remaining 15 hours are allocated by the school across these categories. Ours deepen the practicum and the music and sound work that make this school what it is.

The final exam. One complete hour of teaching, a written exam, and a reflection on how the Sutras and the Gita have changed the way you live.
How we walk beside you
Assessment here is not a single test at the end. It is continuous.
Every chapter closes with a teaching video that a mentor personally reviews. The feedback is detailed and specific, and the next chapter opens only when you are ready for it.
The training ends with two final assessments. A complete one‑hour Vinyasa class, taught in the order of the twelve series you have learned, threaded with an intention of your choice. And a final written exam.
You set the pace. You are never alone.
We meet every Thursday for our live Gather Round calls, in two groups so the whole world can join. The calls are interactive and they change week to week. Discussion, guided meditation, flows, and students teaching live. They are your connection to the mentors, to other students, and to the path itself.
We encourage you to join us, and we understand that not everyone can come every week. That is what the recordings, the one‑on‑one sessions, and our live web chat are for. Any time you have a question, a mentor is within reach.
Everyone moves through this training differently, depending on your goals and your days. Two hours a day completes the journey in about one hundred days, a little over three months. Take longer if life asks you to. The training will wait for you.
The living thread
A handful of books beautifully support this journey.

- The Yoga Sutras of PatanjaliSri Swami Satchidananda
- The Yamas and NiyamasDeborah Adele
These are not required before you begin, and you are welcome to read them at your own pace. They are not side reading either. We designed the program to embrace and embody these teachings, so they are woven into the experience rather than sitting on a shelf.
You will also receive the interactive 200h Student eBook, in US and UK English, with notes, highlights, and bookmarks built in.
