Movement one, becoming
Movement Focus
One path, walked inward
Where you are
This is the beginning. Before any system or protocol, Movement One asks you to change your stance. You are not here to gather answers quickly. You are here to notice, listen, and remain in partnership with the person and the body in front of you.
The central shift
Many wellness approaches begin with control: identify the problem, find the lever, and apply the intervention. Drishti begins elsewhere. The body is an intelligent, adaptive system whose signals carry context. Biosolving is the practice of meeting that intelligence with curiosity, humility, and enough patience to understand before acting.
Why it matters
Every later Movement will give you more language, physiology, and tools. Without this posture, greater knowledge can reinforce authority over the client. With it, knowledge becomes a way to ask better questions, recognize boundaries, and help a client participate in their own change. This is the ground beneath the work.
Structure and rhythm
How this Movement unfolds
Movement One unfolds in three passages. Each builds a different layer of the same foundation, moving from coaching posture, into pattern recognition, and finally into language you can use with a client. The topics beneath each passage show what you will explore and the principle you will carry forward.
-
Partnership
Lectures 1.1-1.3
Listen before you lead
Begin with the posture of partnership. Meet the body as an intelligent system, and the person before you as more than a collection of symptoms, numbers, or problems to solve.
Topics Partnership and scope; body intelligence; whole-person patterns.Carry forward Curiosity before conclusion.
-
Patterns
Lectures 1.4-1.6
Read patterns, not problems
Look beneath the surface. Explore how environment, behavior, and cellular signaling shape adaptation. One well-chosen shift can be more useful than an entire protocol.
Topics Epigenetics; awareness into action; mitochondria, mTOR, and AMPK.Carry forward Context before correction.
-
Practice
Lectures 1.7-1.9
Make the knowledge usable
Bring the whole person back into view. Connect the koshas, nourishment, and aerobic foundation to the practical work of explaining clearly, choosing wisely, and coaching without overwhelm.
Topics The koshas; macronutrients; Zone 2 and aerobic health.Carry forward Integration before information.
What you will carry forward
By the end of this Movement
-
Notice
Recognize subjective and objective signals as information, without rushing to judgment or diagnosis.
-
Distinguish
Distinguish coaching partnership from prescription, explain where holistic coaching begins and ends, and remain useful without stepping beyond your scope.
-
Apply
Read a whole-person pattern and identify one focused, sustainable shift instead of reaching for an overwhelming plan.
-
Translate
Explain body intelligence, epigenetics, cellular energy, nourishment, and Zone 2 in clear, human language a client can understand.
-
Embody
Choose one of the three guiding values and commit to one daily practice that carries it into the next Movement.
Begin by listening.

Practice Pauses
These are not tests. They are places to notice what is becoming yours. Close your notes before you begin and let your first answer be imperfect. The effort of remembering is part of the learning.
01 After Lectures 1.1-1.3 Listening before leading 5-7 minutes
Answer from memory first. Return to the lectures only after you have given yourself the chance to retrieve what stayed with you.
-
Recall
Complete the sentence in your own words: Biosolving begins when…
-
Notice
Name one subjective signal and one objective signal. What changes when you treat each as information rather than a verdict?
-
Stay in scope
A client asks you to tell them what their symptoms mean. How could you remain present and useful without diagnosing or interpreting beyond your role?
Carry this forward The quality of your attention is already part of the coaching.
02 After Lectures 1.4-1.6 Patterns before protocols 7-10 minutes
Resist the urge to sound technical. Aim for an explanation you could offer calmly across the table from a real person.
-
Translate
Explain epigenetics in three sentences without using jargon. What makes this idea hopeful without making promises?
-
Narrow the focus
A client feels overwhelmed by five possible changes. What one strategic shift might you explore first, and what would you want to observe before choosing it?
-
Connect
From memory, describe the different roles of mTOR and AMPK. Why is rhythm and balance a more useful frame than deciding that one is good and the other is bad?
Carry this forward A pattern becomes useful when it helps you choose what matters now.
03 After Lectures 1.7-1.9 Making the knowledge usable 7-10 minutes
This final pause is a teach-back. Speak your answers aloud if you can. Clear language is not a reduction of the work; it is evidence that the work has begun to integrate.
-
See the whole
How do the koshas widen your view of a client beyond the physical body? Name one question this wider lens might help you ask.
-
Teach back
In 60-90 seconds, explain how protein, carbohydrates, fats, and fiber each contribute to the body. Do not give targets, numbers, or a meal plan.
-
Make it practical
Explain Zone 2 using the talk test. Then offer one sentence about why consistency may matter more than intensity.
Before you move on Which guiding value do you want to practice for the next seven days?
You do not submit these responses. Keep what is useful in your journal or notes; the Integration will invite you to carry the same moves more deeply.
Here we rest. A quiet interval after learning gives the mind time to organize what has just been taken in. If it is safe to do so, find a quiet place and let your eyes close. Headphones are encouraged.

Integration
New roots
This Integration marks the close of Movement One and your formal step into the work of becoming the coach who listens.
Movement One establishes the lens through which everything else in this certification will make sense: the shift from controlling the body to partnering with it. Before any protocol or tool, you are asked to orient how you see the body, your role, and the responsibility that comes with guiding another person through change.
This is a turning inward, not a test. It is reflective, not performative. There is no benefit to rushing, and no perfect answer to perform. Depth, honesty, and presence matter more than polish. Take what you have gathered here: the language, the lens, and the way of seeing. Let it find its words.
Your mentor will read your responses closely and respond to you personally before you advance. Completion of this Integration affirms your readiness to proceed to Movement Two.
Your Integration has been received.
Symptoms are no longer problems to silence, but signals to read. The body is no longer something to control, but an intelligence to walk beside. You have begun to see, and that seeing is the ground everything ahead will stand on.
